Privacy Policy

The short version: we store what the app needs to plan your meals, we don't sell it, and you can ask for it to be deleted.

What we collect. Your email, display name, and the content you create — household preferences, recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, cook history, and photos you upload. We also keep basic usage records (like AI token usage) to run the service.

AI processing. When you use AI features, the relevant context (your preferences, recipe text, or photos you submit) is sent to our AI providers to generate the response. We don't use your data to train models.

Error reports. If you opt in, anonymous error reports help us fix bugs. You can turn this off anytime in Settings → Privacy.

Sharing.Content in your household is visible to its members — that's the point. Beyond that and the service providers that host the app (database, email, AI), we don't share or sell your data.

Email. We send account emails (confirmation, password reset) and, if enabled, your weekly plan summary.

Your choices. You can export your household's data from Settings → Data, and you can ask us to delete your account and data by emailing hello@thyme-to-eat.org.
